00:00Greg, why don't we start with the Tom Brady audio.

00:02He was on Colin Cowherd yesterday, talking about the Trevor Lawrence hit from Aziz Alshayer.

00:07Here is what Tom Brady said about the hit.

00:11Defensive players have to be aggressive.

00:13That's their nature.

00:14I always try to be aggressive on offense.

00:16We try to block aggressively.

00:17And at the same time, the defense tries to tackle aggressively.

00:20So there's an aspect to me that I think the quarterbacks

00:24and certainly the quarterbacks need to take better care of themselves.

00:28I've seen Josh Allen running a lot.

00:29I see Lamar Jackson running a lot.

00:31And it's a great skill set to have.

00:32And at the same time, when you run, you put yourself in a lot of danger.

00:37And when you do that, I don't think the onus of protecting an offensive quarterback

00:41who's running should be on a defensive player.

00:43I don't think that's really fair to the defense.

00:45You know, there's quarterbacks that I see running and tiptoe on the sideline.

00:49And they're not even out of bounds.

00:50And they get hit as they're starting to step out of bounds.

00:53And there's a penalty flag thrown.

00:54So it's gone to a point where there's really,

00:57and everyone would label a certain player as a dirty player.

01:01You know, I don't like that one bit.

01:03You know, maybe they fine or penalize a quarterback for sliding late.

01:07You know, and say, look, if we don't want these hits to take place,

01:11we've got to penalize the offense and the defense.

01:15Great point, Brady.

01:16OK.

01:17And I'm an offensive guy.

01:18But I know it has to be extremely difficult to be able to, on the last second,

01:24go in full speed, not hit a guy who slides last.
