00:06martial law he implemented the night before.
00:11Yoon said his government withdrew military personnel following a bipartisan parliamentary
00:16vote that rejected the law.
00:18I issued an emergency resolution against the anti-national forces that try to paralyze
00:31the nation's fundamental functions and destroy the constitutional order of liberal democracy
00:37against the will of the poor nation.
00:38However, a while ago, there was a request for the resolution of the National Assembly, so
00:42I withdrew the military from the National Assembly.
00:47Hundreds of protesters had gathered in front of the parliament, waving banners and calling
00:51for Yoon to step down.
00:53Others were seen blocking military vehicles.
00:57Meanwhile, military troops stormed the parliament building.
01:01People inside linked arms and used furniture to create barricades.
01:06Some military personnel were blocked from entering the chamber by lawmakers who sprayed
01:11fire extinguishers at them.
01:14It was reported that police and military personnel were quick to leave parliament grounds following
01:19the vote.
