00:00A breakup that really surprised a lot of people.
00:02And for the first time, Shailene Woodley
00:05is speaking about it, her engagement to Aaron Rodgers.
00:08When they got together at first during the pandemic,
00:12they got engaged.
00:13And then a couple of years ago, it just ended.
00:17And neither of them has really spoken about what went wrong.
00:21Shailene is hinting at some things.
00:24She's not really saying what went wrong,
00:25but she's saying what she went through.
00:27She said she's been super emotional over this.
00:30And depressed.
00:31She was speaking to Outside magazine,
00:33and this is how she described it.
00:35I had a really awful traumatic thing happen in early 2022.
00:39I felt like I lost my soul, myself, my happiness, my joy.
00:44I really understood depression and anxiety
00:46and, like, complete soul detachment.
00:49I haven't shared much about my relationship with Aaron
00:52because it always makes me cry.
00:54It was not right, but it was beautiful.
00:57Yeah, I mean, it definitely sounds like she's still
00:59pretty broken up about it.
01:00She did go on in the interview and said,
01:03made it clear that there isn't any bad blood between them.
01:05I mean, even after they broke up,
01:07I think Aaron posted on Instagram a long tribute to her
01:10where he kind of shared a pretty similar thing,
01:13saying he was grateful for her.
01:14But like you guys said,
01:15this kind of just opens up more questions.
01:17Because to me, she's clearly,
01:19at least the timeline lines up,
01:21that early in 2022 is when they broke up.
01:24So I don't know if that's what she's saying the incident was
01:26or if there is maybe another incident that happened
01:29and then the breakup just happened around the same time.
01:31But it is interesting just because they both
01:33really haven't talked about it at all.
01:35Well, the thing about Aaron Rodgers,
01:37because I read the book,
01:39is that when Aaron Rodgers moves on,
01:42he moves on and doesn't look back.
01:45And that's been a real source of friction
01:49with some of his family members, some of his friends.
01:52So I don't know the situation here,
01:54but this was like a 600 page book
01:57and there is example after example after example of it.
02:02So I don't know, look, I mean,
02:04he doesn't seem to be the kind of guy
02:06that wallows in things.
02:08That when it's over, it's over.
