00:05The actress reflected on starring in the 2013 film alongside Leonardo DiCaprio while appearing on the Talking Pictures podcast.
00:14In the movie, Robbie has a full-frontal nude scene, one she says she pushed for even when director Martin Scorsese offered an alternative option because she knew it was true to her character.
00:23He said, he said, you know, like, um, if you, yeah, maybe you can be wearing a robe if you're not comfortable.
00:30And I was like, that is not what she would do in that scene.
00:34She would not put a robe on. The whole point is that she's going to come out completely naked.
00:38That's her, that's her like, that's the card she's playing right now.
00:42Robbie also took matters into her own hands during her audition for the film.
00:46While reading for the movie opposite DiCaprio, Robbie said the scene ended with DiCaprio's character telling her to kiss him.
00:52But the actress had other ideas.
00:54And in my head, I was like, I could totally kiss Leonardo DiCaprio right now.
00:59That would be awesome. I can't wait to tell all my friends this.
01:03And then I was like, nah, and just walloped him in the face.
01:07And it was dead silent for about, you know, what felt like an eternity, but was probably three seconds.
01:13And then they just burst out laughing.
01:15Leo and Marty were laughing so hard.
01:18They're like, that was great.
