00:00We can be in defence of Corbran all we like, but he's not getting the best out of these players.
00:05Granted, I've said it on social media this morning, the players aren't performing at the levels that they should be,
00:10but he's not getting the best out of those players either, and he can't be adverse to criticism,
00:15and we kind of can't just lean on, we've got to acknowledge it, but we can't always lean on the fact that
00:21collectively he's done a really good job at Albion.
00:24He's underperforming, Albion are underperforming, he is a better manager than this,
00:29and it's trying to put your finger on why things are so cautious and things are so negative.
00:35Ironically, just as we were recording this podcast, I've been scrolling through Twitter
00:39looking at the brilliant questions that you Albion fans have sent me, and it's come up with a video
00:44from a year ago today when Albion played Leicester at home, and Josh Madger equalised,
00:49Albion were on the way to a one-all draw, Albion went absolutely gung-ho to try and win the game,
00:55as offensive and positive as you could probably see Cor Brown in his whole reign at Albion,
01:00they left the back door open, they lost 2-1, that was probably maybe the wrong thing to do that day,
01:04but why I'm bringing it up is it's such a stark contrast from the Albion we see at the moment.
01:12Saturday, for me, the decision to go to a back five at the start of the second half
01:17was unforgivable, really, because I think if Albion would have kept their foot on the floor,
01:22they might have given up some chances, but they'd have won that game on Saturday
01:26because they had more going forward than Preston, and I can't either get on board
01:32that Albion will sit in and try and protect a 1-0 lead against 19th in the table,
01:36I don't want to be disrespectful to Preston, but they're not a great side,
01:39and at the moment, Albion don't look like a great side because it seems like they're playing almost shackled,
01:45and we've got a question about it, we'll bring it up now,
01:48but how has it changed so dramatically from that first six games?
