00:00In today's media session, I am with Bagan Serai and Kapar, and other friends who are waiting for the turn to discuss,
00:11which is related to a statement by the Speaker of the House, which was revealed in the House for a while,
00:20which is related to a false accusation and misleading facts about the Exchequer of the State of Kelantan,
00:29when it was said with the words, quote-unquote, stupid.
00:34Then when the Speaker, and we tried to pull it back, he replaced it with a non-sense statement.
00:40Actually, I am not sure what is the intention and connotation behind the accusation.
00:46What was revealed by the Exchequer of the State of Kelantan, the Exchequer of Tourism,
00:51is that to make the season of Tengku Juh, there are tourism products.
01:00And this is a common thing for developed countries themselves,
01:06to make the season of Tengku Juh, there are events that match the season of Tengku Juh.
01:12Because tourism products or tourism activities cannot be stopped due to the weather and so on.
01:19How about the shops, sellers, merchants?
01:24They also want to find food, even though the season of Tengku Juh is coming.
01:29And if you want to wait for the end of the season of Tengku Juh,
01:32then there are a lot of problems in terms of their economy,
01:35for the two or three months of this monsoon season.
01:38And I would like to mention a few examples to highlight the MPs.
01:43For example, in Japan, there is a festival called Ajisai,
01:48which is known for the beauty of the flowers that bloom during the rainy season.
01:58This is one of the tourism products made in Japan.
02:03And there is a festival in Kamakura, Kanagawa,
02:08where tourists and locals enjoy the view of the flowers from the ancient temples.
02:15This is how they think.
02:17So this is the wisdom of the S.Korea government.
02:21Another example is in the United States, in the south, like Florida and Lausanne,
02:28they have the Hurricane Awareness Program.
02:32They have the Hurricane Awareness Program.
02:38And there are ecological activities during the monsoon season.
02:43For example, like what is done in Everglades in Florida,
02:48offering activities such as boat trips in the wetland during the rainy season,
02:54benefiting from the increase in water levels.
02:57This is what is done in developed countries.
02:59Another example is in Australia, Queensland and New South Wales,
03:06there is a wet season tourism festival in Australia,
03:10in tropical areas such as Queensland,
03:14as an opportunity for tourists to enjoy the uniqueness of the nature,
03:18such as visiting the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef
03:24during high water levels.
03:27There is also a water festival that is suitable for this monsoon season.
03:33In South Korea, there is the Boryeong Mud Festival.
03:40This is done in South Korea.
03:43For our environmental awareness, during the rainy season,
03:46there is such an academic program.
03:49In Germany, during the rainy season,
03:53there is a water and nature festival in Germany.
03:57In areas such as Bavaria,
04:00there is a river crossing event and a seminar on water conservation.
04:04This is done during the rainy season.
04:07So these are some examples that I mentioned to deny the false accusations
04:11and false accusations made by the relevant parliaments.
04:16It is as if the SGO of the Kingdom of Kelantan,
04:19which proposed this, is not true.
04:22It is even linked to us.
04:25The members of the Parliament, the PAS, the National Assembly,
04:29have never corrected this statement.
04:32Even though we want to correct it, it is already corrected.
04:34It is just that they don't understand.
04:36They are the only ones who don't understand.
04:38So I have risen up to denounce the 36.12
04:42to the speaker earlier.
04:44Alhamdulillah, the speaker asked him to correct it.
04:46But what we are shocked by is the narrative that was built.
04:50It is not just a stupid accusation,
04:53but the narrative that was built
04:55as if we want to take advantage of the flood victims
05:00to make a tourism program.
05:03This is a very ridiculous thing.
05:06It cannot be differentiated between the rainy season and the flood season.
05:11There is a rainy season in Tengku Juh.
05:14It is good that there is no flood.
05:17But this time, the flood is quite big.
05:21But the statement was made by the SGO of the Kingdom of Kelantan
05:24before the flood season.
05:27So these are some of the arguments that we need.
05:30I think he is actually confused.
05:32He does not understand the difference between Tengku Juh
05:36and the flood season.
05:39So that is all from me.
05:41I would like to ask for your additional advice.
05:45One more thing I would like to mention.
05:47If I can, I would like to suggest to the government
05:50to make a strict regulation.
05:53If you want to be a member of parliament,
05:55if you want to be a part of this council,
05:57you must be fluent in Malay.
06:00You cannot speak more or less,
06:02you cannot pronounce it correctly.
06:04Especially if you do not know the difference
06:07between the words that have different connotations.
06:11Like what happened just now.
06:13Tengku Juh is different.
06:14The flood is different.
06:16The flood victims are different.
06:18And the framework mentioned by the SGO of the Kingdom of Kelantan
06:22is the best view to ensure
06:27the welfare of businesses,
06:30entrepreneurs, tourism products in Kelantan
06:34will still have the opportunity to manage their economy
06:38even in the flood season.
06:40That is all.
