00:00Mga Food Explorers, ngayon pa palapit na ang Pasko, marami sa atin na nag-iisip na ng mga pwedeng ihanda sa nalalapit na holiday.

00:12Dahil tuturuan ko kayo kung paano gumawa ng mga simpleng potahe, pero pang malakasan ng dating.
00:22One of the siguro go-to dishes when it comes to chicken as the main protein,
00:28I think Chicken Alaking would be on our top 10 bilang Pilipino, no?
00:34Madalasin namin itong sineserve dati sa hotel, and kadalasan partner nito, kanin.
00:40Did you know you can actually use pasta as your starch component?
00:45So gagawa tayo ng Pasta Chicken Alaking.
00:48So we have here our chicken breast, so fi-filet lang natin to.
00:54So ready na yung ating chicken breast.
00:56Meron tayo ditong chicken carcass.
00:58Lagay lang natin dito sa ating pan.
01:10Using yung stock na nabuo natin, dito natin pakukulaan yung ating pasta.
01:17So we've been cooking our pasta for about 8 minutes now.
01:20According dun sa instructions, mga 12 minutes dapat yung cooking time.
01:24But we wanna serve this al dente, kaya ngayon pa lang tatanggalin natin.
01:27We have to consider din na habang nagpapalamig siya, e mas naluluto siya.
01:31So by the time na iseserve na natin siya with our sauce,
01:34luto na siya dun sa perfect doneness na gusto natin.
01:38We're just gonna add in some oil.
01:45And then we save yung ating stock.
01:47Using the same pan, we're just gonna add in some oil.
01:51Yung ating chicken.
02:08Para hindi ma-overcook, tatanggalin muna natin yung ating chicken cubes.
02:18And then using again the same pan, gigisan na natin yung ating sibuyas at bawang.
02:33Kapag nasangkot siya na natin yung ating sibuyas at saka yung bawang,
02:36ihabol na natin yung ating mushrooms.
02:38We're using shiitake and yung ating button mushrooms.
02:48So once na nag-caramelize na rin yan,
02:50we're just gonna add some stock.
02:52Ibig-glaze lang natin ng kaunti.
02:54And then kapag nag-reduce na ulit, you might wanna add some more oil.
02:58And then saka tayong maglagay yung ating all-purpose flour.
03:05So kapag nakita ninyo na naluto na yung ating harina,
03:08saka na natin ibanto yung ating chicken stock.
03:18So make sure na haluin niyo ng maigi ito para hindi masunog yung ilalim.
03:23So yung mushrooms natin at this point, duto na siya.
03:26Babalik na natin yung ating chicken cubes.
03:30And finish natin siya with our bell peppers.
03:36And yung ating cream.
03:38And then adjust na natin yung seasoning.
03:40Let's add some fish sauce and some salt.
03:43So okay na yung sauce natin.
03:45After we turn off the heat, saka natin ilalagay yung ating green peas.
