Marcos says presence of Russian submarine in WPS 'very concerning'

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday tagged the reported sighting of a Russian attack submarine in the West Philippine Sea last week as a "very concerning" matter. The Philippine Navy earlier reported the sighting of Russian Navy's UFA 490 80 nautical miles west of Occidental Mindoro last November 28 and immediately deployed an aircraft and a warship to track the movement of the said vessel.
