00:00My take to referees is don't give yourself a problem, and you're going to have a problem
00:04because I am going to say that has been taken 10-15 yards away from where the throw has
00:08gone out. By the way, it's our throw as well, but I understand they make mistakes.
00:11Same thing happened in the second half here when there was a free kick close to the touchline,
00:14the one where John got booked. Of course, we've got to probably tidy up our behaviour
00:18on the touchlines, but we see what we like. We feel like we're fans, we're players, we're
00:26everything in between, and we feel it. Yes, we've got to be better, but it's just incredibly
00:32frustrating because we need a lot more than that.
00:35Nicola Schmidt's save, what can you urge a couple of them, but particularly the one
00:37from Liam Cullen?
00:38Yes, absolutely superb. It looked superb in real time. I haven't seen it back. I'm sure
00:43it's going to look even better then, but yes, we need that. We're going to need players
00:46to step up, and I think Nick has come over and he's been excellent. He's been really,
00:51really good, and I'm thrilled for him that he's made that save.
00:54After all the drama, you could so easily have just nicked it right at the end there as well.
00:57Yes, I think if we had, it probably wouldn't have been deserved, but yes, we did nearly
01:01nick it. Playing sensible football, we hit Connor from being a bit more direct. He won
01:09his own second ball and we nearly threw. On another day, that goes in. Did we deserve
01:15it? Probably not, but I think on effort and endeavour and just the sheer frustration of
01:20what it's been like this week, I think it was really difficult to come here and sustain
01:24what we tried to do. We looked fresh in the first half. In the second half, we looked
01:27like a side that hadn't played for three weeks, and those are a few things that we're hopefully
01:31going to get over now going into the home games next week.
01:34How's Marco Mane?
01:35He took a knock to his hip, so I don't know. He just didn't look... I signalled over and
01:41said, are you OK? He said he was fine, and I saw him run for about another 10 yards.
01:44I knew he wasn't, so we had the sub ready. I thought it was obviously a shame for him.
01:49I don't know. I think he's not too bad, but he's taken a whack to the hip.
01:52Any news with Cassini-Yengi?
01:53No, nothing yet. He's in with a specialist on Friday. I haven't spoken to Steve about
02:00it. There may be an update, but we'll speak after and I'll give you a full update on Wednesday.
02:05Do you feel like you're learning lessons when you come to places like the Champions League
02:09and improving as a side and how to deal with... you know they're going to have times of possession,
02:12you know you're going to have moments of dominance. Do you feel your team is learning and dealing
02:16with them?
02:17Yeah, I think that we've dealt with a really, really good Swansea side for 46 of the 47
02:24minutes and 47 of the 48 minutes of the first half. I'm really, really frustrated with the
02:29way that we conceded the goal. Not the cross and not the fact that it's gone in. The fact
02:32that we just overplayed after going 2-0 up. One minute to go is for half-time. I couldn't
02:37fathom what we were thinking and then we get picked off and Swansea score. The only time
02:41we did it in half. So, these are the lessons we've got to learn. We've got to learn a bit
02:44better. We want to play a bit more football if we possibly can, but this side is pressed
02:49really well with excellent athletes. So, we have to be wary of that and we have to make
02:52sure we play to our strengths. When we did, we looked a really good side. When we didn't,
02:56we looked a bit poor. We've got to try and have a lot more of the full one.
03:01Thanks John.
03:02Cheers. I'm going to take it 15 yards ahead of where it should have been.
