00:00Now, let's talk about the colorful decorations and Christmas decorations in the mansion in Baguio City

00:06where the Christmas season is already felt.

00:15Christmas is already here in the mansion house in Baguio City.

00:18First Lady Luisa Reneta Marcos herself was the one who set the Christmas tree lighting.

00:23This is the first time that the Christmas tree lighting in Baguio Mansion House

00:29since 1908.

00:31You know, this is a very good gesture on the part of our President and First Lady

00:37because it took us some time to really open this to the public.

00:43You know, there are a lot of administrations and this was not opened to the public.

00:48And it's very happy now because you see, when they opened this early this year,

00:53a lot of people are excited, not only the people of Baguio

00:58but our visitors as well.

01:00The giant Christmas tree has a height of 1,000 meters

01:03and it has 38 colorful decorations.

01:06The decorations came from high school students who joined the National Decorations Making Competition.

01:12The entries are 1,058 decorations.

01:15Aside from Baguio Mansion, other decorations were also displayed in Malacanang Palace.

01:21The winners of Patim Palak in Linggo were also announced.

01:26The performance of the University of Baguio Voices Choral

01:31and Philippine Military Academy Marching Band also added joy to the program.

01:34Tourists also enjoyed the beautiful view of the Mansion House.

01:39This is my first time here in the Mansion.

01:42And this Christmas, it's super amazing because the Mansion was lit with the Christmas tree.

01:50My family, husband and my two children,

01:54we are happy that the Mansion was opened to the public.

01:59Actually, my daughter is one of the participants.

02:06Yes, open to the public.

02:07The doors will be extended to be open until 8 o'clock every day from now on till New Year's Day.

02:30Presence of Christmas tree lighting were given by Deputy Secretary Sunny Angara,

02:34former Secretary Benjuer Avalos, Jr. and other local officials.

02:39Local citizens in Baguio also did not miss the opportunity for a photo opportunity with the First Lady.

02:51Entrances to the Mansion House are not allowed.

02:54It's open to the public every day from 8 o'clock in the morning until 8 o'clock at night.
