00:14A huge fire broke out in Barangay 310 in Santa Cruz, Manila this evening.

00:19According to the Bureau of Fire Protection, the fifth alarm has been raised.

00:23Since the Manila City Jail is just nearby, 300 persons deprived of liberty were evacuated from the male dormitory.

00:33Actress and businessman Nery Naig Miranda is now in jail after being arrested this weekend for the case of syndicated estafa and violation of the Security Regulation Code.

00:44She was defended by her husband Chito Miranda.

00:47We have a report from Emil Sumang.

00:56While at the Entrepreneur Convention Mall in Pasay City this Saturday, a woman was arrested by the Southern Police District

01:04after being confirmed by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penalty or BJMP.

01:08The arrested person is actress and businessman Nery Naig Miranda.

01:14She was served two warrants.

01:16One is now turned over to the BJMP.

01:19Based on the warrant issued by Pasay City RTC, Nery was charged with 14 counts of violation of the Security Regulation Code

01:27where it is not allowed to buy or sell securities to anyone who is not a registered broker or dealer in the Securities and Exchange Commission.

01:36Naig is now in jail but she will remain in jail for the case of syndicated estafa which is non-bailable.

01:43In a Facebook post, she was defended by her husband, Edgar Frontman Chito Miranda.

01:49He said that he has never taken or asked for money from anyone.

01:55He said that Nery is just an endorser.

01:57He used his face to attract investors.

02:01After Chito's arrest, his wife was suddenly arrested without a notice or a fine.

02:06They also did not give Nery a chance to explain.

02:18Vice President Sar Duterte is planning to file a complaint against him by the Quezon City Police District.

02:42The Chief of Staff of Vice President Sara Duterte, Atty. Zulika Lopez, was in a commotion when he was transferred to the hospital last Saturday.

03:02the Chief of Security of Vice President Sara Duterte, Colonel Raymond La Chica,

03:10The Chief of the Quezon City Police Health and Dental Clinic, Lieutenant Colonel Van Jason Villamor,

03:15was seen in the video released by PNP.

03:19Because of that, Villamor filed a complaint with QCPD Director of Police Colonel Melesio Buslig

03:26against VP Sara and Colonel La Chica in the Quezon City Prosecutor's Office

03:32for direct assault, disobedience to authority and grave coercion.

03:37Some John Doe's and Jane Doe's were also included in the complaint.

03:41Nobody is above the law.

03:43If there is a violation, we will file a case.

03:47We do not expect the consequences to be like that.

03:51VP Sara will also file her own complaint.

03:55Initially, we are filing charges against them as well for disobedience, for kidnapping, for robbery.

04:05VP Sara believes that the complaints filed against her will not be enough.

04:11According to the NBI, there was a grave threat and possible violation of the Anti-Terror Law

04:17because she said that if she was going to be killed,

04:20she was also talking about killing the President, First Lady and House Speaker.
