00:00Skiing helps with other mindsets in life. I try and do a bit for mental health. I'm fully aware of mental health with everybody really.
00:13And the great thing is that I find that being in a wheelchair a lot of people tend to be quite sensitive around you and not wanting to talk about things and just talk about mundane things.
00:25Whereas actually when you start speaking about skiing, particularly sit skiing obviously, it's a real conversation starter and people are intrigued by how it works.
00:34And I always compare it to maybe go-karting. You sat down, you feel as if you're going faster than you probably are and it does give you an element of confidence.
00:43And also the fact that you have a passion about it when you talk about it as well.
00:49And I think since my football days and my cricket days, I've probably missed that passion. I like talking about rehab and one or two other things like that.
00:58But when you really talk about an activity that you love doing, like everybody, then it's easy to talk about. And yeah, it certainly helps with every aspect of daily life I think.
