00:00Last time facing Washington, your Oregon career, what does this game kind of mean to you?
00:08How are you preparing for it?
00:09It means a lot.
00:10It means a lot to the people that have came before me, like all the alumni.
00:14I know it means a lot to the state of Oregon, the Pacific Northwest.
00:17And yeah, no, it's just like, you know, facing these guys the past three times have not come
00:24out to the result that we wanted.
00:26It's been, you know, as we all know, last year was a real close game.
00:29So, you know, we're, we know what's ahead of us and, you know, we're focused on this
00:33week tremendously.
00:34So, got to take care of business this week.
00:35Have those losses lingered at all through the offseason and not this first half of this
00:40season?
00:41Yeah, a little bit.
00:42Yeah.
00:43You always feel, you know, that sour taste in the back of your mouth, even though that
00:46we know that it's not the same, the same team from last year, you know, it's still the same
00:50program.
00:51So, let's go back to just when Manning got hired and guys left the program, you chose
00:56to stay and buying into his vision and now what it's become of just that journey of his
01:02first year to now where you guys are today.
01:04Yeah, no, I think that just, you know, shows great examples of growth.
01:08One of our DNA traits, you know, first year was kind of up and down and then, you know,
01:12the next year getting better and better.
01:14And then, you know, this year we're putting it all together.
01:15Right.
01:16So, just dialing in, just dialing it all in and, you know, paying attention to the details
01:20and just getting better each week and, you know, each year as well.
01:23So how's that experience been for you personally?
01:26It's been great.
01:27You know, it's been it's been great.
01:28I've developed as a man on and off the field.
01:29And then as well, just meeting, you know, new people, just like you said, with the transfer
01:32portal, having an opportunity to leave, come back, whatnot.
01:35But, you know, it's been great meeting a whole lot of new teammates and then, you know, just
01:38developing bonds and relationships with, you know, these coaches as well.
