Hayes backs Kerr to be 'amazing mum'

00:00I mean first of all, Sam will be an amazing mum. I know that. She will be amazing.

00:06She's got great patience and perseverance and a character and a personality that

00:13she will roll with the criticism or the hate speech that's being spouted all over the place.

00:20But she's a human being and it's not nice. At the end of the day it's a massive announcement for her and Christy

00:27and one where the vast majority of people are supportive and behind them.

00:34But you can't change everything. Of course it's disappointing but what I've realised more and more is

00:42put your energy into the things that really matter, to the people that really matter and

00:47try not to give too much credence or energy to the negative things and naysayers that

00:53want to disrupt or take away and I'm pretty certain Sam is not only well equipped to be able to

01:01move forward but she's got bigger things to focus on. One, she's got to get back playing for Chelsea

01:07which I know she'll be excited to do and two, she better get ready because she ain't going to get

01:12any days out and nights out when she becomes a mum. That was the first thing I'd text her.
