00:13Yes, sir.
00:14How many bedrooms did that apartment have?
00:16Two bedrooms.

00:18Four in living room, four in one and four in the other one.
00:20What?
00:21So, we were like a happy family.
00:23It was a struggle.
00:24How do four people stay in one room?
00:26I don't know.
00:27We used to lie on top of each other.
00:30I think social media has helped me out to become an actor.
00:34Because it was Facebook, through Facebook and..
00:37Yeah, only Facebook and Google that I used to look out for auditions.
00:41Because I didn't know anyone, so I used to search for it.
00:43I used to type keywords like actors required or casting calls on Facebook and Google.
00:47And then go from New Bombay to Bombay.
00:50And New Bombay also, my journey from Gwalior to New Bombay was..
00:53..because I wanted to be an actor, I wanted to become an actor.
00:56And to be close to Mumbai, that was the only option that I could have, you know..
01:01..come up with and told my parents.
01:03Because my parents..
01:04Because mom and dad didn't want you to do it.
01:05Mom and dad didn't want me to become an actor.
01:06Why would you pick engineering? It's really tough.
01:08You really have to study a lot.
01:09It was easy. Biotech is easy.
01:10So, I got an admission in another college, which was in another city.
01:15And there, thankfully, my parents couldn't give the bank guarantee.
01:20The fees.
01:21So, they were very sad about it.
01:23I don't have to go to that college.
01:25So, then you went to some other Mysore college or somewhere.
01:28No, I didn't go there. This was Ujjain College.
01:30I had to forego the seat.
01:33And then finally, New Bombay, where I finally got my admission.
01:36And then from there, I used to travel..
01:38Up and down. To do auditions.
01:40To the auditions.
01:41And I used to get rejected every day.
01:42They used to knock me out and send me away.
01:44So, I had to go to Ujjain College.
01:46And then I went to Ujjain College.
01:47And then I went to Ujjain College.
01:49And then I went to Ujjain College.
01:50And then I went to Ujjain College.
01:51And then they used to knock me out and send me away.
01:53Were you not fit?
01:55I was fit, man. According to me, I was fit.
01:57But they were not thinking you were fit.
01:59They were not thinking that I was fit.
02:01And also, you stayed in an apartment with 12 people.
02:03Yes, sir.
02:04How many bedrooms did that apartment have?
02:06Two bedrooms.
02:07So, 12 people in two bedrooms.
02:08Four in the living room, four in one and four in the other one.
02:10What?
02:11So, we were like a happy family.
02:13It was a struggle, but we..
02:14How do four people stay in one room in Ujjain?
02:16I don't know.
02:17We used to lie on top of each other.
02:19No, but we..
02:21All boys.
02:22All boys.
02:23All boys, all were struggling.
02:24And I heard that all were actors.
02:26All wanted to be an actor.
02:27And you used to cook, I believe.
02:28For everybody.
02:29I just liked cooking.
02:30I just loved cooking.
02:31So, somebody just wrote that I used to cook for money.
02:35That wasn't the case.
02:36You were not getting money, right?
02:37No, I was getting money for cooking.
02:39You started a Dhaba.
02:40Somebody wrote that in an interview.
02:42So, but I love cooking.
02:44So, that's what I used to do.
02:45And..
02:46But it was..
02:47Sir, I was really happy when I was with them also.
02:51So, it's been a..
02:52Actually, it's been quite a struggle.
02:53You're 28 years old right now.
02:55And this all began about five, six years ago?
02:57This began nine years back.
02:59Nine years ago.
03:00When I was around 19, maybe.
03:02You've done a lot of these interesting roles
03:04which requires you to be this kind of mumbling,
03:07kind of cute, kind of funny,
03:09you know, boy next door kind of vibe.
03:11Do you want to take..
03:12Do you want to break that stereotype and go beyond it?
03:15Or are you going to leverage this for the moment?
03:18Sir, I'm going to do both the things.
03:20I mean, I've thought of it and I want to do..
03:22I want to continue what I've been doing
03:23with Sonu, Titu or Panchnama.
03:25And I want to do something else as well.
03:27So, that is something my focus point would be from here on.
03:30And thankfully, now I'm getting those kind of scripts
03:34or options to choose from.
03:35And now is the time maybe my options would reflect
03:40upon what, you know, what comes in the future.
