00:00Chennai taught me a lot. Tamil Nadu taught me a lot.
00:04When it came to how to conduct myself, how to appreciate the game.
00:11Digardhoni, you may be from the state of Jharkhand, but we the people of Tamil Nadu love you.
00:17I'm more like a wanderer. My parents came from UP.
00:32It was initially UP, then it became Uttarakhand. I was born in Ranchi, which was Bihar.
00:37Then later on became Jharkhand. Got my job at the age of 18 with railways in West Bengal, Kharagpur.
00:44And then I came to Chennai.
00:47It's the fan following that CSK has got.
01:14But I won't like to limit the fan following only to Tamil Nadu. I think it goes much beyond that.
01:20It goes beyond the state of Tamil Nadu and it goes beyond the border of India.
01:44Whether we are playing at Chepauk or we go to Bangalore, we go to Mumbai, we go to Delhi.
02:03Or when we have played at Durban, Joburg or Dubai, we have got the most support.
02:10I would like to thank the fans for supporting us the way they have done.
02:16Even through the lean patch, two years we were missing.
02:19And those two years were the most talked about years when it came to CSK in the social media.
02:25That's what fans are there for. When we are not doing well, when we are not there, they backed us.
02:31I have always planned my cricket. My last game that I played was in Ranchi.
02:37The ODI version, the last home game was at my hometown in Ranchi.
02:43So hopefully my last T20, it will be in Chennai.
02:48Whether it's next year or in five years' time, we don't really know.
