01:59I think the fact that people started sharing and voicing their own stories or opinions or what they're seeking,
02:11I mean, it could be about so many different aspects that all encapsulates under women empowerment.
02:19I think that's what it is really all about today.
02:28I was like, wow, 17 years to Cannes then? That's amazing.
02:46Time's just flown by and I think that's always a good thing.
02:51If time's flying, it's a good thing.
02:58I think the fact that people started sharing and voicing their own stories or opinions or what they're seeking,
03:08I think that's always a good thing.
03:10I think the fact that people started sharing and voicing their own stories or opinions or what they're seeking,
03:18I think that's always a good thing.
03:49Children are a blessing from God and I've always said that.
03:53When I got married, people were like, are you going to have a baby? When are you planning your baby?
03:56And I'm like, it'll happen when meant to be and that's exactly what happened.
04:03I've had a bit of a break from cinema. I had my baby girl.
04:07So it's been a bit of a break, but time's flown by for me.
04:10I've had no concept of how quickly time's going by.
04:14But having said that, my choices ahead is not defined by the fact that I've had a break or now I'm a mother.
04:21It's more about work that will interest me, that will excite me and make me want to do what I do every waking day.
04:28Yes, I'm here to be an actor and that's who I am. But an actor is in the public eye, so there will be opinions.
04:48And I keep saying, yes, there is negativity.
04:52But I'm blessed the positivity is so much more that the negativity is just a drop and it just slides right off.
05:23Can you imagine? I mean, for the longest time, everybody kept saying, so when, so when, so when, social media, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, something.
05:33And I kept kind of, you know, keeping away because and for a very simple reason, I genuinely, I think it's fun.
05:42It's enjoyable. It can be intense. It can be a great platform, a great avenue to express yourself, to connect.
05:50And it is, it is a way of life today and tomorrow. So you have to embrace it, no doubt.
05:56But at the very beginning, I stayed away from it because initially I just felt that this was kind of, you know, people were only focusing on the numbers and this and people themselves forget perception.
06:07And I just felt, are you serious? That's something I did not want to play into.
06:11And I didn't want to be a part of. And that's why I kind of stayed away from it for the longest time.
06:16But currently, I just thought with, you know, I just succumbed to and the joy that all my well-wishers world over are like, oh, my God, the best news ever.
06:26And I'm like, that's sweet. All right. Thank you. Happy to be on and happy to share. And Instagram is sweet and easy.
06:45I don't need anyone. I want to be a desire.
