00:00Bungalow is very important as per the traffic jam is probably there.
00:03I know that the IT people all are facing crucial problem.
00:08If you sit stuck in traffic for 3-3 hours in one place, what do you see?
00:13You don't see the weather.
00:30So we are making satellite town ring road.
00:40It is being constructed under Bharat Mala Pariyojana to decongest our garden city.
00:46It is the length of 288 km, ring road Bangalore, 243 km in Karnataka and 45 km in Tamil Nadu.
00:58The cost of this project is 17,000 crores, out of which 288 km, 136 km has been awarded
01:07at the cost of 6,000 crores and 53 km has been already completed.
01:15This corridor is designed for a speed of 100 km per hour, boosting the speed of freight
01:20movement and increasing the traffic handling capacity.
01:23So we will make double-decker flyovers and that is going to be useful for the future.
01:28It will provide safe movement of commercial vehicle and at the same time it is going to
01:34reduce the logistic cost, it is going to reduce the fuel, at the same time it is going to
01:40reduce the pollution and traffic jam in Bangalore.
01:44It will link Bangalore sub-urban areas of Hoskote, Devanhalli, then Dodlaballapur, Ramnagraha,
01:58Kanakpura, Anekal in Karnataka and it will also link Hosur in Tamil Nadu where the new
02:06airport is expected.
02:10We will also provide a connectivity to propose multi-modal logistic park at Dhapspot and
02:16propose Pune-Bangalore-Greenfield Express Highway, there is a connectivity.
02:20Now we are making Bangalore-Mysore Express Highway.
02:26So it will be, distance will be within one hour ten minutes, maximum one hour also.
02:32So already next month we will try to inaugurate this road by Honorable Prime Minister or President
02:39of India, we are requesting them, with their schedule we will fix up the date.
02:43Now I am suggesting to the state government, now this is the time that Bangalore is so
02:48congested so the Karnataka state can plan satellite cities on this highway, particularly
02:55they can develop Mysore and a satellite township by which the Bangalore may be decongest.
03:01It will help the IT industry as it will allow them to spread their campuses, offices across
03:07the length and breadth of the city.
