00:13Brute is at Pragati Maidan where the G20 summit is happening where India is hosting a lot of
00:18countries and their delegates and also journalists from those countries.
00:22So I'll be stationed at the International Media Center where all the media are supposed to be restricted to
00:27and the Bharat Mandapam is a few minutes away from here where all the action will be happening.
00:33Alright, this is the entry to the International Media Center which has several halls from
00:39like right in front of me I can see hall number 5.
00:42There are several halls, there's a Crafts Bazaar nearby which I'm excited to see.
00:51There's G20 detailing everywhere.
00:53There's imagery of what represents India on these G20 banners.
00:59We're reaching the point where we have to use our access cards to get in.
01:03I'll show you how it works.
01:05I'll have to scan my access card here and it'll show my picture after I've scanned.
01:14Alright.
01:20Okay.
01:21Alright.
01:24This is the entry to the International Media Center.
01:27All journalists will have to be seated here.
01:30They'll work from here, they'll film their videos here, they'll write their pieces here
01:35and they'll watch the action from here on screens which have been placed inside the venue.
01:43Okay, there's another G20 detailing with the whole logo where the lotus is there and the G20 symbol is there.
01:53Look, there are classical dancers on the banners and things that represent India traditionally have been displayed.
02:07And as we enter from this gate, on our right are all the flags of the countries that are going to be participating in the G20 event, in the G20 summit.
02:19Many news reporters have stationed themselves in front of these flags.
02:23I guess for a better background, you know.
02:25I'm walking towards the work stations for the media.
02:29You can see there are desks with chairs on each desk.
02:33And these sections have also been divided according to names of the rivers that flow across India.
02:39This is where journalists can grab snacks or beverages while doing the work.
02:44So, I've been told that no plastic is being used and everything is being served in paper cups and such.
02:50And right here I can see water dispenser.
02:53So, the water here is, you know, it's in cans.
02:57Water is in cans and obviously there are other beverages that you can have.
03:02I've been told that this is Vrindavan tea which has been prepared by people that have come from Mathura.
03:07Okay, I'm now at the hall number 4 here where dinner and lunch will be served to journalists.
03:15Right now, the counters are closed.
03:17But all the food, I've been told, is veg.
03:21And this hall can seat 3,000 people at once.
03:26And the menu for the journalists here and the delegates that are coming from other countries, the leaders, etc. is the same, I've been told.
03:36So, the kitchens are separate but the menu is the same food.
03:41I'm at the RBI booth and I've learned that there are objects that we carry daily that can be used for UPI transactions.
03:49And we won't need to add pins, etc.
03:51They have a limit of Rs. 5,000.
03:53So, there is a ring, there is a keychain, there is a wristband, there is a watch.
03:57All of these things that we carry on a daily basis can replace our cards as long as we are spending only Rs. 5,000 on that day.
04:04I'm at the Crafts Bazaar where Neelam ji from Delhi is weaving a cushion cover on spun silk, she says.
04:12How long does it take you to make a cushion cover?
04:14It takes less time to make a plane but it takes less time to make an interlocking technique.
04:21Because we have to count each thread and it takes time.
04:26So, it takes 2-3 days to make a cushion cover.
04:30And she's doing it right in the middle of the Crafts Bazaar here at the G20 Summit.
