00:00In the concert, you don't expect to die.
00:08Everybody affected deserves answers.
00:21You can't believe that I just saw someone die.
00:24Someone's family is about to receive some really bad news because I just saw their son on the floor.
00:31I'm looking at my phone and I see an ad on Instagram for Askworld.
00:36I'm interested and I said, oh, you know what? I'm down. I'm down to go.
00:44When I'm getting to the show, everyone's having a good time.
00:48Everyone is excited. Everyone is just happy.
00:51Everyone is just looking at each other like ready to party.
00:56I start walking to the main stage and then I see the timer.
01:01As the timer starts going down, our space starts getting tighter.
01:05This is uncomfortable. I don't feel safe.
01:08And then the beat drops.
01:15Travis Scott comes out and the fires, the flame is going everywhere.
01:19And what I was waiting all day, it's finally here.
01:25Everyone's trying to jump because it's so tight.
01:27We're still not realizing how bad it really is.
01:31Everyone was happy for about 20 seconds and everyone's face is starting to be worried.
01:37I can't move anywhere. No one can do anything because there's so much pressure.
01:45I don't care about the music at this point. I don't care about anyone. I'm just trying to survive.
01:50I'm stepping on these bodies and I'm walking out and I'm feeling all this mud and liquid and drinks and plastic.
01:56And my feet are already hurting. I just need to get out of there.
02:00I was in the United States Marine Corps for seven years.
02:03I did a combat lifesaver course where they teach you how to deal with people if they do get injured.
02:12I see this girl that's like screaming.
02:16I see this girl that's like screaming and she passes out.
02:19So I grab her and I'm walking towards the back more where there's more space.
02:24And I'm trying to yell at her, but she's not responding to me.
02:27So I start giving her CPR.
02:29People are knocking me down and people are walking over her legs still.
02:32People are not looking and she eventually comes back.
02:35She's breathing and I'm like, oh my God, is this reality right now?
02:41I'm looking around and I see another guy getting stomped on.
02:44So I run over there to the guy and I start pulling this guy back.
02:47And this guy is like bloody and he's not responding.
02:50So I start giving him CPR.
02:51And I'm trying, I'm trying, I'm doing it.
02:53And I'm thinking, damn, he's not responding like the other girl did.
02:56Am I doing it wrong?
03:03And it starts getting so intense. It started getting tight again.
03:05So I have to leave him there because I don't want to die myself.
03:07I can't believe that I'm pretty sure I just saw someone die.
03:16I knew immediately someone was going to be dead, paralyzed, broken bone or whatever.
03:22And they came to this concert just like me to have fun.
03:27I'm not walking away trying to find water.
03:30I'm trying to look for anything because my feet are, I'm just so cold.
03:33But I'm in so much shock and I'm just so, I'm so wet.
03:36And I have so much mud on my legs and my feet.
03:39And my feet are just like, they feel bloody and they feel, they're feeling bruised.
03:43I talked to some security guards, they're like laughing about it.
03:45Oh man, it looks like you had a really good time.
03:47And I'm like, yeah, I had a really good time.
03:49And they're like, oh my God.
03:50And I'm like, oh my God.
03:52I talked to some security guards, they're like laughing about it.
03:54Oh man, it looks like you had a really good time.
03:56And I'm like, no man, I'm pretty sure I just saw people die.
04:00And they're like, he's like, oh man, it was that crazy?
04:02And I'm like, yeah, it's crazy in there right now.
04:05I'm pretty sure more people are dying.
04:06He's like, oh, okay.
04:07He just kind of laughs about his friend and he just walked away.
04:09And I'm like, this is unbelievable.
04:13In the Marines or in the military, you assume risk.
04:15In the concert, you don't expect to die.
04:20You don't expect to see a dead person.
04:21You expect to have a good time, to see your favorite artist, and to be more of a fan of his.
04:44I don't really go to concerts anymore.
04:46I stay away from those things.
04:47I don't really like to be around that much people anymore.
04:49I prefer to just kind of go home now.
04:51It's just, I don't know, it's just, if I can avoid it, I'm just going to avoid it now.
05:20I don't really go to concerts anymore.
05:21I prefer to just kind of go home now.
05:22It's just, I don't know, it's just, if I can avoid it, I'm just going to avoid it now.
