00:21docuseries Crime Scene, The Times Square Killer, and is already serving a life sentence. Under
00:27oath earlier this week, Cottingham admitted to killing an additional five women in New York in
00:33the 60s and 70s, including 23-year-old Diane Cusick. He received a sentence of 25 years to
00:39life following the new admission, which came after DNA testing tied him to the nearly 55-year-old
00:45murder. As a part of his deal with prosecutors, he received immunity for prosecution in the four
00:50other murder cases he admitted to. Cottingham is called the Torso Killer because his alleged
00:54crimes include dismembering his victims and cutting off their heads and limbs.
