00:00Someone was saying to me that, in terms of the transition, here's the final ironic point,
00:06deeply ironic but deeply important to remember. The solutions actually are there.
00:12The renewable energy transition and revolution is well and truly on its way.
00:17This is a rearguard action by 19th and 20th century fossils, literally, preserving their
00:24own interests, selfishly allowing the planet to burn a little bit longer so they can turn
00:30in a profit. It sounds simple but it's the truth of it. And the fact that only about less than 2%
00:36of the royalty revenues that come from the coal that's charging out of here
00:40comes back in to the hunter to help in the transition is a shame.
00:45It's an absolute shame and it validates the decisions by citizens to come out
00:51and peacefully protest. Having said that, let's go back to another mining company
00:56from days gone past where eventually justice was done.
01:51My God, he's wrenched out, he's crunched up and broken. My love that he's lived is no more
02:08than a token. We'll strike the flint upon the stone and tell me why.
02:14If I yell out at night, there's a reply of blue silence. Screen is no comfort,
02:21I can't speak my sentence. Through the lights at heaven's gate, I don't know why.
02:30But if I work all day on the blue sky mine, don't need food on the table tonight.
02:37And if I walk up and down on that blue sky mine, don't be afraid of poverty tonight.
02:47But can you stop, pop a lie to the shareholders, crossing their fingers.
02:53Hey, the truth makers, the balance sheet is breaking up the sky.
03:00And if the blue sky mining company won't come to my rescue.
03:23And if the sure refining company won't save me. Who's gonna save me?
03:40Who's gonna save me?
03:44But if I work all day on the blue sky mine.
03:47And if I walk up and down on that blue sky mine.
04:00Some have sailed from a distant shore, and the company changed what the company was.
04:08Nothing's as precious as a home in the ground.
04:17So
04:26me
04:44Who's gonna save me?
04:46Me
05:03We've got nothing to fear. Oh, yeah. And in the end the rain comes down.
05:10And in the end the rain comes down. And in the end the rain comes down.
05:16It's washing clean the streets of the blue sky town.
05:32Thank you very much.
