बहराइच में वन विभाग ने 6 दिन की कड़ी मेहनत के बाद एक तेंदुए को पकड़ने में कामयाबी हासिल कर ली है। बहराइच के कतर्नियाघाट वन्यजीव प्रभाग क्षेत्र में बड़े पैमाने पर जंगली जानवरों के हमले हो रहे हैं। इससे तकरीबन एक दर्जन से अधिक गाँव के लोगों में दहशत फैली हुई है। गौरतलब है कि 15 नवम्बर को 4 वर्षीय बालक को तेंदुए ने मार दिया था जिससे ग्रामीणों में आक्रोश भर गया था। आज 6 दिनों की मेहनत के बाद वन विभाग को सफलता मिली । वहीं दूसरी करफ ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि अभी सतर्क रहने की जरूरत है और बाकि के तेंदुओं का पकड़ना होगा। ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि अभी भी कई तेंदुए इस इलाके में हैं। वन विभाग को उन तेंदुओं को भी पकड़ना होगा।
