00:00The Dallas Cowboys have yet to play the Washington Commanders, but still have to play them twice

00:11Now, Dallas is sitting a game above the New York Giants, who are currently in fourth place
00:16of the NFC East, while the Commanders are a game and a half back behind the first place
00:21Philadelphia Eagles.
00:23There's hope to see veteran receiver Brandon Cooks and cornerback Derron Bland return to
00:28game play on Sunday.
00:30And while the team has lost five straight, Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy says he's
00:34been really impressed with the team's work ethic.
00:36When thinking back to training camp, he says that you never really know how resilient a
00:41team is going to be, because you have to go through a fight to figure that out.
00:46McCarthy says that the locker room has really stayed the course, considering all the injuries
00:51and moving parts that they've had to endure.
00:54And the team itself will play against former defensive coordinator Dan Quinn this weekend.
