00:00Once upon a time there was a teeny tiny canola seed. He and all of his friends
00:08were off on an adventure they were going to be planted. Before the farmer could sow
00:13the seeds he made sure there were no nasty weeds by spraying them with a boom
00:18sprayer. Now the ground was ready the farmer could sow the little canola seed
00:22along with a little bit of plant food because this little canola seed would be
00:26very hungry. The farmer uses his air setter going up and back, up and back
00:34until the little canola seed and all his friends were safely tucked beneath the
00:39ground. And then they grow and grow and grow. All of this growing makes the
00:48canola seed very hungry so the farmer gives a little more food. The little seed
00:54grows into a plant, getting bigger and stronger
01:04until one day it blooms beautiful flowers, bright yellow flowers.
01:10Soon the flowers turn into pods. When all the flowers are gone the canola plant is ready to be windrowed.
01:16The canola is chopped into nice neat rows to catch the sunshine.
01:23The plants are left to dry out until they're ready for harvest. The header
01:32scoops up the canola and takes the seeds from the many pods.
01:37The seeds are then unloaded into the chaser bin.
01:47Until they hitch a ride on the back of a truck.
01:54The truck is then taken into the silos in town where the canola is sampled to
02:00measure how big and full of oil and protein the little seeds are.
02:06The farmer then delivers the little canola seed and all his mates to the
02:11grid, where they are transported on a conveyor belt and a loader which pulls the canola seed and all of his
02:23mates onto a great big ship. Until the ship is full.
02:31This ship then takes the canola seed to where it is made into canola oil.
02:36The end.
