00:04Temperatures have plummeted in recent days, and Leeds saw a fresh covering of snow on

00:10The Met Office is now warning of a new spell of heavy snow on Saturday the 23rd of November,
00:15followed by a rapid thaw and subsequent rain on Saturday night that may cause some disruption.
00:21A yellow weather warning is set to be in place across much of the UK between 4am on Saturday
00:26and 9am on Sunday.
00:28Met Office officials have warned that outbreaks of rain will spread north-eastwards on Saturday,
00:33preceded by a spell of snow across parts of northern England and Scotland.
00:37Difficult driving conditions are likely, and strong winds could see some interruptions
00:42to power supplies.
00:43The rapid thaw of lying snow as milder air arrives, along with an additional 20 to 40
00:48millimetres of rain in some upland areas, could see spray and flooding cause road closures
00:53and transport disruption.
00:55Top temperatures, though, are likely to be back in double digits on Saturday and Sunday.
