With deepfake attacks occurring every five minutes in the UK, how concerned are you about the safety of your personal data or even your image being misused? What do you think can be done to protect people online?
Transcript
00:00To be honest, I think now it's become more of a thing for people to get a hold of these things.
00:05I actually got hacked a couple of months ago on my Facebook account and Instagram account,
00:10and I couldn't get back into it, so the person was using my account to be someone else.
00:15It's common practice now to use and abuse other people online.
00:19But I do believe it's a big, especially for celebrities and people like that,
00:22you know, like anybody can put their head on somebody else, and it looks really realistic now.
00:27If you keep your space on Jason and everything, as tight and as close as you can, you can protect yourself.
00:34But on the other hand as well, the people that you're paying to do this should also do it.
00:39More needs to be done, 100%, but I do think as well, like, we do put so much of our lives on socials,
00:46but then you have to think, why should we not be able to do that?
00:50Instead of social media leaders, it should be whichever creators offset things should put limitations on it.
