00:00We have just spoken to Shrewsbury Town head coach Gareth Ainsworth ahead of Shrewsbury's game against Birmingham City this weekend on Saturday lunchtime, another early EFL kick-off.
00:16Training has been heavily impacted in his first week in the job by the weather. They've only been able to train on Monday, I believe, and then on Tuesday because the weather came.
00:28It's been tough from then onwards. They've not had the opportunity to be on the grass quite as much as the new boss would have hoped.
00:37He's kind of assuring the media when we were asking questions of him earlier about getting his message across to the players and that there's been a lot of time spent on screens.
00:51The players are heading up to the AstroTurf this afternoon to train on the artificial surface at the stadium. However, not all the players can actually train on that due to the effect the different impacts of training on AstroTurf has on people's bodies.
01:09With regards to the squad for the weekend, it looks as if Morgan Feeney and Josh Coyote will not be available for the game. Josh Feeney does have a hamstring injury. He went off during the clash against Warsaw.
01:26So I don't think he's quite trained as much as they would have liked over the last couple of weeks. Whether he's available for the game or not, we will have to wait and see.
01:36I asked Gareth Ainsworth if he'd picked his team for the weekend and he said he's watched a lot of games back. He's watched training and only had the chance to take one session. He's got some positions in mind and others are still up for grabs.
01:49We're going to have to wait and see, but it's going to be a massive game on the weekend. We're expecting a big crowd, a full away end, especially with high-flying Blues coming to town. They beat down 4-0 not that long ago, so Shrewsbury will need to put in a good performance for the supporters as the Gareth Ainsworth era gets underway.
