00:00Some motorists were seen passing through the EDSA busway even though it was prohibited.

00:05In the operation carried out by the Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation, or SAIC,

00:11in Quezon City this morning,

00:13not less than 18 motorists were found.

00:17Most of those who were caught were motorcyclists.

00:21Some of them were found to be unregistered for several years and did not have an ORCR.

00:27Some ambulances were also found to have a passenger.

00:31Some ambulances have passengers who can pass through the EDSA busway.

00:36But the problem is, they did not bring a travel ticket.

00:40According to the driver of the ambulance,

00:41they suddenly went on a trip and were not able to get a ticket.

00:46According to the MMDA, only vehicles are allowed on the EDSA busway,

00:51such as buses that pass through this route,

00:54ambulances, firetrucks, police cars, and other service vehicles on duty,

00:59as well as vehicles of some high-ranking government officials.
