00:00And in fact, Montgomery got fired today in Boston.
00:07And remember, he was the coach in Dallas and they let him go because he had an alcohol
00:12problem.
00:13Right.
00:14So but he didn't get let go of this because of Boston.
00:16They just they weren't winning enough, which we can get into that tonight, which I find
00:20pretty crazy.
00:21He just fired a coach who was like 715.
00:23That's his winning percentage with the Boston Bruins.
00:26Wow.
00:27This guy's won like 70 percent of the games that he's 71 percent of the games that he's
00:33coached in.
00:34And you just fired him, like after three years or whatever, because a little bit of a 500
00:39type of start.
00:40But clearly, they felt that he lost the room and that he was losing a room.
00:45And if you recall, actually going back to last year in the playoffs, you you could tell
00:51like there's sort of a code in the NHL, like as soon as you start publicly ripping your
00:55players, if you're a coach, you're done.
00:58You can get away with it.
00:59And like the NFL, if you're like your Andy Reid or something, and, you know, coaches
01:04don't normally do it.
01:06But remember, Montgomery started to sort of call people out like publicly a lot.
01:10Right.
01:11You know, just the effort, this and that.
01:14And once you do that, it's hard, you know, it's hard to get the guys back in the room.
01:18So Montgomery's out.
