00:00From a small business, now the chocolate business is run by a female entrepreneur who is able to make an income of up to RM15,000 per month
00:20and become an economic activity for the residents of the public house of Seri Pelis 2.
00:26Nur Hashimah Daud's 50 years of success was helped by the Ministry of State Coordination
00:31which provides grants under the initiative of Rukun Tetangga Progresif
00:35introduced to promote economic growth under the activity of the community.
00:41From the company, I do it at home, only homemade.
00:45And now there is a shop and complete equipment.
00:52I can say complete, meaning the change for this homemade chocolate is indeed 360
00:59and the most exciting thing is when I can also generate the economy of my neighbors,
01:09my authorities to become their income side.
01:14Grants are used by Nur Hashimah and the residents for chocolate making equipment
01:20such as melting machines and chocolate mills,
01:23cutting boards, and freezer boxes.
01:27The income before Progresif was around RM800 to RM1,500 per month.
01:34When the first two months started with Progresif, the income of chocolate was around RM2,000 to RM2,500.
01:44The highest income this month is around RM10,000 to RM15,000.
01:51In addition to the chocolate company, KRT Perumahan Awam Seripolis 2,
01:55which has 33 active members,
01:58among them are single mothers and widows,
02:00who also work in community gardens to generate income.
02:05We used to be known as Sukarela Rondaan Control.
02:09With the existence of RT Progresif, which has been chosen by the Ministry,
02:14including the protocol provided,
02:18RT Progresif can further increase the economy,
02:21as well as further develop local economic projects,
02:26such as hand-made chocolate,
02:30hand-made chocolate,
02:33the process of making eggplant tea flowers,
02:36vegetable planting, and other agricultural plants,
02:40as well as small businesses and others.
02:44Last May, the Minister of State, Aaron Agu Daga,
02:47said at least 152 RTs across the country
02:51carried out economic activities for the community based on agricultural projects,
02:57food products, drinks, health, handicrafts, and catering services.
03:02That's why we now call it the KRT Progresif model.
03:07We do modeling first,
03:09and we focus on 8 main areas.
03:15The first is the economy and way of life.
03:18The second is safety and community resilience.
03:20This is the origin of the KRT development.
03:23The third is leadership.
03:24The fourth is community cohesion.
03:26The fifth is learning as much as possible.
03:29This is important.
03:30Focus on the environment,
03:32culture and culture standards.
03:35Among other RT Progresif,
03:37the results of the Sate Pantai di Batu Pahat village
03:41which recorded RM12,140 in sales,
03:45while the KRT Kampung Sina Budi Lama di Kuching
03:48earned RM68,920 in profits in 15 months,
03:53and the RT Jalan K Persin 11 Pucar Jaya
03:56earned RM13,250 since the project was implemented.
04:03Want to see it develop?
04:05I'm sure the program will get a place in the 13th Malaysia Plan
04:10based on the positive results so far.
04:13The Ministry of State Coordination is the best.
