00:00I think I struggled for a minute with finding something to do on my own,
00:07finding my purpose, and what was I gonna do. I knew I was passionate about
00:12business but I didn't know I can have fun every day doing my job. I'm Anna
00:17Donato, founder of Donato Realty and leading sales agent at Londono Realty
00:21Group. I faced major insecurities about my age and the perception of being a
00:27young woman in business. I wanted to be recognized for my intelligence and
00:31capabilities, not just for my appearance. I was always passionate about the idea
00:36of becoming the stereotypical entrepreneur with financial freedom,
00:40buying art, traveling, and fashion. This is the vision that drove me to my career.
00:48The real estate industry presented me with both challenges and opportunities. I
00:53often felt underestimated and judged before I could showcase my skills. So I
00:58just focused on closing the next big deal to prove myself not just to others
01:04but to myself. I began to leverage my social media presence. I started having
01:10fun with my Instagram, making videos, making posts, which drove a lot of
01:15attention to my business as I adapted modern business techniques to carve out
01:19my niche. Everything else just fell into place and just like that my business was
01:24born. I put so much love and effort into my work from the photos to the listing
01:29online. I try to make everything perfect for my clients while keeping the
01:33transaction together. What's the most rewarding for me is getting highly
01:38recommended to the next client and signing a new contract. I try to service
01:42my clients with loyalty and honesty while making them financially free.
01:46That's the most important for me. Starting my career on my own and it
01:51being so public from the beginning while growing so fast, there was no room for
01:56mistakes. Although every company makes mistakes and that's okay but it's about
02:01owning up to those mistakes and just being honest and changing it in front of
02:06everyone is what matters.
02:11I'm the face to my brand and I take responsibility for everything that
02:17happens. I learned a lot from my mom. Her strong worth ethic and character within
02:22the business world really inspired me. She taught me that respecting yourself
02:26and using your mind in business is what brings true success and without
02:31self-respect you are short-lived. Building anything from the ground up
02:35isn't easy, it's hard but that's what makes it so worth it and makes it so
02:39amazing.
