00:48call for climate justice in the form of financing, in light of the six storms that hit the Philippines
00:53in just four weeks.
00:55Storms and typhoons this time of year are not unusual for the Philippines.
00:59On average, the country experiences 20 tropical cyclones every year.
01:03But Joel Pagulayan of non-government organization Oxfam Pilipinas says it becomes uncommon when
01:08six consecutive storms with, quote, equally catastrophic impacts happen within a short
01:13period of time.
01:15Groups count from severe tropical storm Christine, which caused massive flooding in the Bicol
01:19region, up to super typhoon Pepito, which battered Catanduanes and Aurora in eastern
01:24Luzon.
01:25Between Christine and Pepito were four other tropical cyclones, Leon, Marseille, Nica,
01:30and Ofel.

02:10with the Kapisana ng mga Broadcaster ng Pilipinas, the National Press Club of the Philippines,

02:57The change comes largely in response to Russia's deployment of North Korean ground troops to
03:01supplement its own forces.

03:07Republican U.S. Rep. Mike Turner, who chairs the House Intelligence Committee, says Biden's
