00:00There is a new name in the backfield and given strength of schedule and given the surprise
00:06of this team, this may be a guy that can carry some managers well deep into the playoffs
00:12rostered in about half of leagues.
00:14Walk us through this one.
00:15Yeah, it's Audrick Estime, who we mentioned earlier in the start set and I think is a,
00:21you know, viable RB to this week.
00:23Now here's the thing.
00:24I've seen some people really overrate him.
00:26It's like, oh, it's his backfield completely.
00:27Well, it's not yet.
00:29So let's not get crazy.
00:30What we've seen is the verbiage from Sean Payton.
00:33We want to get this guy in the football more.
00:35Okay, good.
00:36And they did five carries for 35 against Baltimore.
00:39Tough situation.
00:40Then another tough situation against Kansas City, 14 for 53.
00:43So he's the guys who get the job done here, not Javante Williams to get those tough rush
00:47defenses.
00:48Now you get the Atlanta Falcons.
00:49So this is an opportunity here to really see what Estime could do.
00:52Bigger back, different style back too.
00:54So maybe a different flavor of what this Denver Broncos offense wants to be in terms of identity.
01:00They've got the Atlanta Falcons.
01:01Then they've got the Las Vegas Raiders, the Cleveland Browns, and a bye.
01:03Rest of season then in the playoffs, Indy, Chargers, and Cincinnati.
01:07So all matchups where you could be playing this guy.
01:09He does have a bye still coming, so that's something to consider and realize, but he
01:13is still available in almost 50% of leagues.
01:16And Estime is somebody that should at least be rostered because you can never have enough
01:19running back depth.
01:20And coming up week 12, week 14, massive bye weeks, right, where we're going to be missing
01:25a lot of guys.
01:26So give me as many bodies as you can possibly get.
01:29Estime is one of those guys who is going to be on the week 14 bye, but he can help you
01:32in the week 12 situation too against Las Vegas Raiders next week.
01:35So Estime, a guy that you can plug and play.
01:38He's a flex play.
01:39He's an RV2 in deeper leagues this week.
01:42Is it his backfield, quote unquote?
01:44Not necessarily yet, but there's certainly potential.
01:48And I think now is the time you want to roster him on the cheap or for free and pick him
01:51up because if it does become his backfield and everybody else, Javante Williams, Jaleel
01:55McLaughlin fade into the background, it's going to cost you a lot more Monday morning
02:00to invest.
02:01And that's the difference here.
02:02Joe, let me ask you a question to the casual viewer, stopping just short of saying like
02:06a poor man's Derrick Henry, give me a comp for Estime to the casual viewer so they can
02:10better understand.
02:12I would say, you know, that's a tougher one here because he's a bigger back, a little
02:17more like the Brandon Jacobs type bag, like the bigger guys.
02:19You know what I mean?
02:20Like we saw from yesteryear.
02:21He's like that.
02:22He's a little bit more of like the big guy pound.
02:23He's not, he's not the twitchy Javante Chan style running back that we're seeing a lot
02:27of in the NFL.
02:28He's a little bit more of that in between the tackles rusher.
02:31It's even like Sean Payton's kind of into that right now.
02:33Bo Nix is able to get out in space, make some plays with his legs.
02:36I think what you're trying to do is get a little bit more physical upfront.
02:39I think that's what Payton wants to do.
02:40And you know, a lot of people are making a lot of jokes in the beginning of the season
02:43about the Denver Broncos being, you know, terrible and Sean Payton, you know, the game
02:47passing him by.
02:48Maybe it hasn't.
02:50We're all looking here.
02:51You know, Caleb Williams has been a disaster the last month that Bo Nix has been a QB one.
02:56So you tell me what it looks like in Denver.
