00:16Wow. Do you know roughly what it tallies up to then, the total?
00:19Total over 120,000.
00:22That's awesome. And roughly how many names are on here this year?
00:25We've currently got 140 names. It's early days.
00:29So people can still add, it's not too late, people can still donate and add.
00:33And the Mayor, it's always nice to get the Mayor down isn't it?

00:48It gives me great pleasure as the Mayor of Wolverhampton
00:52to officially launch the Tree of Remembrance 2024.
00:58The Wolverhampton Rotary Club have organised this for the past 20 years
01:02and have raised over £120,000 for good causes
01:07while at the same time providing people the opportunity
01:11to remember lost loved ones in their Christmas celebrations.
01:16The good causes benefiting this year are Compton Care,
01:20Sponsored Breaks, the Wolverhampton MS Therapy Centre,
01:26Wolverhampton Rotary Club Charity Trust.
01:29All these charities do fantastic work
01:32helping and supporting the people of Wolverhampton and beyond.
01:36Christmas can be a difficult time for some
01:39but I hope you have a peaceful Christmas.
01:42I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy Christmas
