00:00Good news for the commuters because the 5 new stations in Phase 1 of the LRT Line 1 Cavite Extension Project will be used tomorrow.

00:10How fast is the journey?

00:13Let's find out with Joseph Moro.

00:19The Phase 1 operation of the LRT 1 Cavite Extension will start tomorrow.

00:24President Bongbong Marcos and Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista led the operation.

00:32Tomorrow at 5 in the morning, try it and you will see that it is very fast compared to the traffic that we are experiencing every day.

00:41The President boarded the train and passed 5 new stations that will be connected to Baclaran Station.

00:47From its end, Dr. Santos Station in Paranaque, followed by Ninoy Aquino Avenue Station, Pitex Station.

00:55Here, it is right in the middle of Pitex for those who will travel to the province.

01:00There is a walkway to cross to Pitex.

01:03MIA Station, which is near Domestic Road and IA Terminal 2.

01:07And the Redemptorist Asiana Station, which is near the Office of the Department of Foreign Affairs where the passport is applied.

01:14The journey takes less than 10 minutes and the trains arrive every 4 minutes.

01:20This is the 4th generation train set of the LRT.

01:25And this is the type of train that will go to Phase 1 of the LRT Cavite Extension starting tomorrow.

01:36The total fare is P45.00 from Fernandopo Junior Station in Quezon City to Dr. Santos Station in Paranaque.

01:45And if it is just the Extension, from Redemptorist to Dr. Santos, the fare is only P20.00.

01:51The first trip is at 4.30am every weekday and at 5pm every weekend and holiday.

01:56The last trip is at 10pm and 10.15pm every weekday and a little earlier every weekend and holiday.

02:02We estimate that 80,000 passengers can ride this every day or more than 6,000 vehicles on the road.

02:11Especially during the Christmas season, as you mentioned.

02:15I'm sure that their trips will be faster.

02:18That's why the Paroquians of the LRT are already excited.
