00:00Thank you very much Mr. Speaker. Shooting Star Children's Hospice in Hampton serves
00:05children with life-limiting conditions and supports their families not just
00:10across my constituency but right across South West London and Surrey. They're
00:14facing a bill of £200,000 with the national insurance hike on top of all
00:20the inflationary costs they've had to absorb and they're also waiting for
00:24confirmation on whether the children's hospice grant which they've had this
00:27year of £1.8 million will continue beyond April 2025. Will the Minister
00:34commit to making hospices exempt from the NI rise not just nursing staff but
00:39all staff and when will she be able to give Shooting Star and other children's
00:43hospices confirmation on whether the children's hospice grant will continue?
00:46They need to plan now.
