Vice President Sara Duterte announced on Friday that she will not participate in the upcoming inquiry by the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability, set for November 20. The inquiry aims to examine the budget utilization of her office as well as the Department of Education (DepEd) during her term.
Duterte said the inquiry was a waste of her time and stated that she would instead submit an affidavit to clarify her position on the budget issues in question.

Pero we plan to send a letter, we plan to say why, and then I plan as well to submit an affidavit about the confidential funds. I don't know if din alam yung affidavit na yan.
01:25But we plan to tell them kung ano yung pwede nilang gawin sa akin.
