00:00An outback we take as long as it needs, so it may be some horses may make it in a few months,
00:06some horses may take a few years and that totally depends on the individual.
00:10However, our horses only obviously depending on the breed but physically mature at around
00:15three or four years old. So we want to make sure that we don't put too much undue pressure on them
00:19and we want to make sure that they are mentally capable. So building up that horse's confidence
00:25and I always say the same thing is so much easier than breaking it and having to rebuild it because
00:30it takes so much longer to rebuild a horse's confidence than it does to incrementally build
00:36it up. If you reach that threshold of that horse's capability and you push past it,
00:41it's going to take a hell of a lot more time to be able to bring it back to that point
00:46than if you never push past that capability point.
