U.S. government experts, former DOD and NASA officials, and others testify before a House Oversight Committee on reports of "unidentified anomalous phenomena" (UPA) on Capitol Hill Wednesday.
Transcript
00:00The report has stoked suspicions Arrow is unable or perhaps unwilling to bring
00:05forward the truth about the government's activities concerning UAPs. I'm disturbed
00:10that Arrow itself lacks transparency. Even its budget is kept from the public.
00:17So if there is no there-to-there, then why are we spending money on it and by
00:23how much? Why the secrecy if it's really no big deal and there's nothing there
00:29why hide it from the American people? Now the Ultimate Anomaly Resolution Office
00:34Arrow has reported hundreds of UAPs that remain quote uncharacterized and
00:39unattributed and which quote appear to have demonstrated unusual flight
00:43characteristics or performance capabilities and require further
00:47analysis. This is our own Arrow office. Now we shouldn't prejudge what they
00:51might be. I'm certainly not going to. We need evidence but what we are detecting
00:55things and we know that we don't understand them and this is worth
00:58investigating. Attached to the email is what is now known as the go fast video
01:03captured on the forward-looking infrared sensor of one of the Navy FAA teen
01:08aircraft participating in the exercise. The now declassified video showed an
01:13unidentified object exhibiting flight and structural characteristics unlike
01:17anything in our arsenal. The implication of the email was clear. The author was
01:22asking whether any of the recipients were aware of classified technology
01:26demonstrations that could explain these objects. Because the DOD
01:31policy is to rigorously de-conflict such demonstrations with live
01:35exercises I was confident this was not the case. The very next day that email
01:40disappeared from my account and those of the other recipients without
01:44explanation. Let me be clear. UAP are real. Advanced technologies not made by our
01:50government or any other government are monitoring sensitive military
01:53installations around the globe. Furthermore the U.S. is in possession of
01:57UAP technologies as are some of our adversaries. I believe we are in the
02:01midst of a multi-decade secretive arms race one funded by misallocated taxpayer
02:07dollars and hidden from our elected representatives and oversight bodies. And
02:11since my reporting on this immaculate constellation last month another source
02:15came forward who told me that they saw a roughly 13 minute long high-definition
02:20full-color video of a white orb UAP coming out of the ocean approximately
02:2420 miles off the coast of Kuwait. It was filmed from a helicopter. The vehicles
02:28we're we're talking about are performing in excess of 1,000, 2,000, 3,000 G's. I
02:36think probably the vast majority of UAP are drones, experimental aircraft, weather
02:42conditions, which is again why I say if we review the data I think we're going
02:45to discover a lot about things we weren't even thinking about. But there is
02:48a percentage that isn't and looking into those anomalies is how discoveries
02:54will be made. Mr. Elizondo based on your knowledge of UAP sightings do you
02:59believe it's fair to say that they're especially common near nuclear sites? Yes
03:04sir. Mr. Congressman I absolutely am convinced of that as are my colleagues
03:09inside the government.
