00:00We're going to defend the people of this city. Because look, his attack, let's be very clear,

00:06the President-elect, former President Trump, his threat is not just towards new arrivals

00:13and undocumented families. His threats are also against black families.

00:19He has a vision to destroy public education. So when he talks about Project 2025 and dismantling

00:24public education, we're talking about a system that has been designed to create

00:30leveling opportunities for families who are descendants of slaves.

00:34He's also threatening the Department of the Environment. We restore the Department of the

00:38Environment. With global population shift and climate change that's happening all over the

00:42planet, we're going to stand up and protect our environment. We're going to stand up and we're

00:46going to protect undocumented individuals. We're going to protect black folks, brown folks, Asian

00:50folks. Listen, the anti-sentiment that exists in this political space right now is unconscionable

00:57and it's dangerous. Whether it's anti-black or anti-Semitic, we're going to protect people and

01:02we're going to invest in people. The city of Chicago will be better, stronger, and safer,

01:08despite who's in the White House.
