Peanut the Squirrel is officially in the clear, testing negative for rabies after his death, but get this -- it's also emerged that both he and Fred the Raccoon were set for the chopping block days before they were seized in a raid ... and their owner is absolutely livid over it.

00:00I was at one of P. Diddy's freak-offs.
00:03Freak-offs.
00:04You saw celebrities there that you recognized.
00:07Mm-hmm.
00:08They were a rapper that we all know.
00:11Straight-up porn directed by Diddy.
00:13I'm just grateful to have made it out.
00:15Well, everyone remembers the saga of Peanut the Squirrel.
00:18Actually, the saga is still going.
00:20But we spoke to Mark Longo and his wife, the owners of Peanut,
00:25the day that they found out that he had been euthanized
00:28by the New York State authorities who came in during that raid
00:31and took Peanut as well as a raccoon that they had.
00:35They were obviously very upset, and they told us that
00:38what the authorities said was that they had to destroy the animals
00:42because one of them had bitten...
00:45Peanut had bitten one of the...
00:47The agents that went in.
00:48One of the many, many agents that raided this house
00:52and that by biting an agent, which is weird
00:55which is weird because why weren't the agents wearing gloves
00:58if they knew they were taking...
00:59And Mark said that.
01:00Which is weird, but if they got bit, the issue is,
01:04did they have rabies and they have to cut the head off of the squirrel
01:07in order to see if he has rabies.
01:09So that was the answer they gave, which, frankly, we never bought.
01:13Well, they got busted on this because guess what?
01:19They ordered the death of Peanut before the raid,
01:23before any agent was bitten.
01:26Yeah, and not only that.
01:27They ordered the death of these two animals,
01:30but they also determined afterwards,
01:32which you can only determine afterwards whether an animal had rabies.
01:35Neither of them did, but I have to say,
01:38you run this risk when you try to domesticate an undomesticated animal.
01:42At times, these agencies have to come in...
01:45But then why did they lie?
01:46Why lie?
01:47Why did they lie?
01:48When the government lies about it, that's what creates conspiracy.
01:51And I'll give you a theory on why they lied,
01:54because Mark Longo and his wife have an OnlyFans account
01:59and they do X-rated material on it,
02:02and a neighbor may have complained,
02:04and somebody's thinking, this is my theory,
02:07somebody in government is thinking,
02:09oh, it's just a blanking squirrel, we'll teach them,
02:12and they go there, they get a search warrant,
02:15as opposed to just going to the house and saying,
02:17look, we've got to talk to you.
02:18They get a search warrant, raid the house,
02:21are there for hours, seize the squirrel, kill it,
02:24lie and say they did it because somebody got bit
02:28when they had ordered it days before.
02:30Not feeling right, Derek.
02:32And then to find out that the animals don't have rabies.
02:34Right.
02:35Well, I'll give you another way of looking at it, though.
02:36By taking this animal in and trying to turn them into social media stars,
02:39they imperiled this wildlife by doing so,
02:42and this wildlife could have lived a long life in Central Park.
02:45Then say that.
02:46But they didn't say that.
02:47They didn't say that.
02:48They did a search warrant, Derek.
02:50If the issue is, oh, we don't like the fact
02:52that you're using a poor squirrel in social media,
02:54well, knock at the door and say, look, guys,
02:56as opposed to getting a search warrant from a judge,
02:59sending multiple people in,
03:01telling Mark and his wife to get out of the house.
03:04It's very simple.
03:05It's what my mother always said,
03:06the lie is worse than the actual act,
03:08and the fact that they lied and said this whole thing about
03:11we have to kill them because they bit one,
03:13and now we find out that they had ordered it.
03:15If they just said ahead of time, yes, we got a search warrant,
03:18and we've determined we're going to destroy these animals.
03:21I'm not buying even that.
03:22But they wouldn't say that because they know there would be outrage
03:25if they actually were just honest about it.
03:27And as Mark said to us on TMZ Live,
03:30he said one of the first questions they asked,
03:33do you have cameras in the house?
03:35Where are the cameras?
03:36Well, why are you interested in cameras?
03:38Gee, could this have to do more with OnlyFans than a squirrel?
03:42Kirsten Clemens, Dayton, Ohio.
03:45Now, the reason why I'm on Mark's side and his girlfriend's side,
03:49because they actually tried to release these pets back into the wild,
03:54and they came back.
03:55They were well taken care of.
03:56I think this is completely behind OnlyFans.
03:59But if they're doing OnlyFans, what do you want from them?
04:01OnlyFans is completely legal.
04:03Yeah, and I still don't understand getting the search warrant
04:06and determining ahead of time you're going to destroy the animals.
04:09Because that was never the reason, I think.
