Hilarious footage has emerged of a child discovering the truth behind the saying, "Never meet your heroes."
"We were at Drayton Manor Park, and my son went to hug the lion, but he got scared," the filmer, Jodie, told WooGlobe.
Although the lion was incredibly friendly, the little one couldn’t resist backing away as quickly as possible.
Luckily, Jodie was recording, as her son’s sudden change of heart happened so fast, she wouldn’t have been able to grab her camera in time.
