00:00A new diplomatic protest was held by the Department of Foreign Affairs against China.

00:05It was because of the declaration of China's baselines, or SACOP as they call it,

00:09in Bajo de Masinloc, or Scarborough Shoal, which is part of our Exclusive Economic Zone.

00:21The harassment of the China Coast Guard against the boats of the Filipino fishermen

00:25who were supposed to go to the Escoda Shoal this October,

00:28arrived at the Philippine Coast Guard.

00:30According to David, the fishermen, in the early hours of October 9,

00:33were chased by the China Coast Guard near their boat.

00:37The Chinese were allowed to get off their speedboats.

00:39The CCG was in a panic, so the Filipinos were afraid and changed their direction.

00:46they stayed near the Iroquois Reef, or Rosul Reef, from October 10.

01:14that the Filipino fishermen have no right to enter here.

01:28The entire West Philippine Sea is a very vast waters.

01:31There is a possibility that our Coast Guard vessel is in Gawinang Pag-asa,

01:38or in Lawa, or in Alicas.

01:40According to Defense Secretary Gilberto Gidoro Jr.,

01:43who is in Australia to assist Australian Defense Minister Richard Marles,

01:48the Philippines is a direct victim to China's aggressive moves.

01:52What we see is an increasing demand by Beijing

01:56for us to concede our sovereign rights in the area.

01:59We are direct victims of Chinese aggression in this,

02:04and in a concentrated area so far, thus far, in the West Philippine Sea.

02:10In response to the Chinese Foreign Ministry's maritime Dispute between the two countries,

02:53if China's illegal occupation of Bajo de Macinloc continues
