00:00The updated outlook for both Miami and LA. Let's start with the winners, the
00:08victorious side, that being the Finns. Joe, although a win last night outright
00:13as an underdog to snap a three-game slide in a much-needed, perhaps even
00:18must-win type of environment for Miami, still a very large hole to crawl out of
00:24at 3-6 through 10 weeks. Only two teams that entered the second half of
00:31a year, 2-6, since 1990 have seen the postseason. And as we learned on
00:37the broadcast, both of those clubs did so by winning a weak division. The AFC East
00:43is not weak. Buffalo is 8-2 atop the AFC East at this moment. So again, you
00:49see the updated outlook. Miami is still three games south of 500, seven and a
00:54half to win total, but a plus 280 price for the Finns to make the playoffs. There
01:00is a sliver of hope, perhaps optimism, Joe, but you give us the sense of South
01:05Florida. How optimistic should the Dolphins be feeling right now? Yeah, well,
01:11I mean, they've got a couple of more winnable games coming up here. I think
01:15they've come home to take on the, you know, the two-win Raiders, and they
01:19should have no problem winning a few more games. That seven and a half, I
01:23think, is an interesting number when you look at, after the Raiders,
01:29they got New England, very winnable, but then they got to go to Green Bay, then
01:34they got the Jets, then they got Houston, San Francisco, Cleveland, and the Jets. So
01:40can they get to over seven and a half? It's going to be, they're going to have
01:44to win one of those games we don't think they're going to be a favorite at, like
01:47Green Bay, Houston, or San Francisco, but two against the Jets, one against
01:52Cleveland, New England. Yes, they should have at least another win with the
01:57Raiders, and New England after that. What does that put them at? Five wins? That
02:01means they got to win two more games there, or three more games of the
02:05remaining four, and that's going to be tough with that schedule. Yeah, it
02:09certainly is. They are a seven and a half point home favorite against the
02:12stumbling Las Vegas Raiders, who are coming out of there by this upcoming
02:17Sunday in week 11. Three and six, eight games remaining for Miami to even flirt
02:23with playoff contention. You would think, at bare minimum, they need to win six of
02:29their final eight to get above 500 at nine and eight, but Joe, as we have said
02:35throughout this season, became pretty evident about a month and a half into
02:38the year, with teams like the Dolphins, and the Jets, and the Jaguars all
02:43struggling, where you thought they would be the wildcard contenders in the
02:47National Football League, even the Bengals, who are below 500. Right now,
02:52when you look around the AFC, still, as you count them all up, there are six, and
02:58only six teams that are above 500. The Broncos are five and five now, after
03:04dropping to straight. The Bengals, still two games below 500. The Colts have
03:09fallen back to four and six. So there is a path for the Dolphins, just because of
03:14how relatively weak the AFC has been. So I guess some optimism for teams like the
03:19Finns, like the Jets, like the Bengals, although I don't believe the New York
03:24Jets are a playoff team. Not the same story, though, Joe, in the NFC. Many more
03:30teams above 500, contending for divisions, but if they lose out on
03:35winning a divisional crown, then, hey, here's a wildcard berth. So if the Rams
03:39flirt with 500, or even stay below, there's no chance that LA is going to be
03:44a playoff team. Felt optimistic after winning three straight, entering Week 10,
03:48and being a slight home favorite against Miami. Now you see that playoff number
03:52plus 470. Yeah, I mean, listen, it's going to be, it's gonna be some rough
03:59sledding for the Rams, because they still got, well, at least they have everyone
04:04that they need to beat in front of them in their own division, right? They needed
04:08to win that game last night. They'd have been sitting really pretty had they won
04:12that game last night at home against Miami. Unfortunately, now they're going
04:17to have to regroup and start putting some wins together here, but they still
04:21will play. They're the guys they got to beat in front of them here coming up. So
04:26they still somewhat control their destiny, which is really what you're
04:29hoping for as you head into Week 11.
