00:11Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Commissioner Datuk Rusti Muhammad Issa said the incident, which occurred around 4.10am, caused a loud boom that was heard in the neighbourhood.
00:21He said the suspect carried a total of eight bottles filled with petrol and each of them had a firecracker tied to it.
00:28He said the police also seized an aluminium bottle filled with firecrackers.
00:32Residents living in the neighbourhood complained of hearing a loud bang surrounding the Bukit OUG condominium.
00:40A security guard on duty said there was no fire.
00:44He said they saw a motorcycle passing through and stopping before a loud bang was heard.
00:49He contacted the authorities on the incident.
00:52Checks at the site saw a large police presence with forensic unit members conducting investigation before leaving at about 11.45am.
01:01Several condominium maintenance workers were seen clearing shattered glass from one of the doors leading into the main building.
