In Belarus, the government confirmed that it has officially become a partner country of the BRICS bloc.
The Belarusian foreign ministry said that on November 5th, president Aleksandr Lukashenko sent a letter to the pro tempore president of the group, Vladimir Putin, in which he conveyed his willingness to join the BRICS.
