Just because somebody can no-scope an enemy across the map in Apex Legends or build a shantytown while blasting the competition in Fortnite does not mean they are as adept at adulting. Need proof? Here ya go. Eighteen-hour shifts are rough, regardless of what kind of work you are doing. Former professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player, Michael "Shroud" Grzesiek nearly passed out on his desk at the end of an 18-hour Rust stream, inspiring Twitch chat comments like "Shroud ded" and "Shroud, go to bed." Perhaps the biggest secret to Shroud's success as a streamer and competitor is the level of attention and concentration he brings to his gameplay. A deeply tactical gamer, Shroud has been known to gauge the sound of crowd reactions to discern rivals' positions and detect impending firefights in CS:GO tournaments. Maintaining that level of focus for a prolonged period of time would tire anybody, and marathon streaming sessions are common on Twitch. 00:10Need proof?
00:11Here you go.
00:1218-hour shifts are rough, regardless of what kind of work you are doing.
00:15Former professional Counter-Strike Global Offensive player Michael Shroud-Kozechek nearly
00:19passed out on his desk at the end of an 18-hour Rust stream, inspiring Twitch chat comments
00:25like Shroud dead and Shroud go to bed.
00:27A superstar Canadian gamer, YouTuber, and streamer, Shroud was once named the Best Shooter
00:32in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds by fellow streaming star Ninja.
00:36Perhaps the biggest secret to Shroud's success as a streamer and competitor is the level
00:40of attention and concentration he brings to his gameplay.
00:43A deep-league tactical gamer, Shroud has been known to gauge the sound of crowd reactions
00:47to discern rivals' positions and detect impending firefights in CSGO tournaments.
00:52Maintaining that level of focus for a prolonged period of time would tire anybody, and marathon
00:57streaming sessions are common on Twitch.
01:06Oh, damn, that felt good.
01:08Oh, they got their stuff.
01:09Okay, let's log out.
01:11In March 2021, Ludwig Argrin, or simply Ludwig, became Twitch's most-subbed streamer.
01:17Ludwig is known for streaming a variety of titles with his interests ranging from Super
01:21Smash Bros. and Pokemon to chess.
01:24Given his ability to grasp titles that are easy to learn but difficult to master, one
01:28would assume that solving an issue with his refrigerator would be a simple matter.
01:33Ludwig apparently thought so, too, as he streamed his attempts to tackle a technical problem
01:37with his fridge in front of an audience of 80,000 viewers.
01:40"...sometimes it does this, and I don't know what I have to wait for.
01:44If it's God, if I have to turn off my freezer, which seems absurd to do."
01:49Admittedly, appliances have become smarter and more feature-heavy in recent years.
01:53These advancements have arrived at the expense of added complexity, and even simple tasks
01:58like changing the clocks on a device can cause headaches.
02:00However, Ludwig's problem was lower-tech.
02:03His ice machine was not ejecting ice, and despite the component being marked as removable,
02:08it would not budge.
02:09Eventually, his fellow streamer and partner QTCinderella came to the rescue, suggesting
02:14he approach the ice maker from the bottom rather than the top.
02:17After dropping his phone in an attempt to find the frozen obstruction, he was able to
02:21slide a knife sharpener into the ice machine and jiggle things loose.
02:25Here's a challenge.
02:26Let's see if you can guess where this is going.
02:28"...I got bored of saying hi to people, so I would ask them, like, a philosophical question
02:32every single time.
02:33And it just so happened that one day I was leaving my house to go to the bank."
02:38While a few details are known about Corpse Husband, the Among Us streamer is mostly very
02:42secretive.
02:43During a stream captured on YouTube, he revealed his most embarrassing story.
02:48Corpse once accidentally terrified a teller at his bank by asking an ill-advised question.
02:52"...What is your biggest fear?
02:55Can you f-----g feel it?"
02:57"...Oh my gosh, your voice!"
02:59"...Your voice!"
03:00"...You're like, oh sh—!"
03:01Given the risk of armed robbery associated with working at a bank, it's difficult to
03:04imagine a more threatening random inquiry.
03:07Corpse admitted that it probably sounded like he was trying to frighten the teller.
03:10The teller's distinctive deep and chilling voice probably didn't help matters.
03:14Of course, some people occasionally speak on autopilot or ask something odd without
03:18thinking, and it sounds like this honest mistake came from a good place.
03:22Corpse explained that he was attempting to better himself and become more social with
03:25people, so he took to greeting strangers whenever he was out and about.
03:29But after a while, he found that standard greetings were growing stale and turned to
03:33philosophical questions to spark conversations instead.
03:36"...It was a woman, and she said, she actually answered it genuinely.
03:40She was like, dying alone and having no impact, and I was like, oh my god."
03:44While acrobatics may or may not be part of your normal routine, everybody has tried to
03:48look cool at some point in their lives, only to epically and often painfully fail.
03:53So it was with the former Fortnite streamer, Tfue.
03:56In recent years, Tfue has switched the focus of his streams away from Fortnite, primarily
04:00out of a desire to focus on games he considers more fun, even though the shift may have cost
04:05him viewers.
04:06That's not to say Tfue won't go the extra mile to entertain his viewers, though.
04:09While trying to raise money for charity on Twitch, Tfue made an ill-fated attempt at
04:13a backflip on stream.
04:15After swinging his arms in preparation, the streamer jumped into the air, hugged his knees,
04:20started to flip, and violently succumbed to gravity with a thud.
04:23"...It's so scary, dude."
04:30To Tfue's credit, the stunt drew the intended effect, and his donation counter increased
04:35while he moaned on the floor.
04:36The streaming star later redeemed himself and demonstrated his athletic prowess by successfully
04:41landing the same flip on an outdoor tumble mat.
