The moving Storrington Remembrance Parade took place on Sunday, November 10, this year with crowds lining the streets of the West Sussex village at 2.30pm.

00:59and the Lord Lieutenant of our county, Lady Emma Barnard, whose deputy I am, it is my
01:06duty to welcome you all and to thank you all for attending this act of remembrance. For
01:15your many contributions, thank you, and for all you've done to support the Poppy Appeal
01:21and today, thank you. We have come together to remember before God those who have died
01:32for their country in the two world wars and many conflicts of the years that have followed.
01:40Some we knew and loved, we treasure their memories still. Others are unknown to us,
01:49to their remembrance too, we give our time. With thanksgiving, we recall services offered
01:58and sacrifices made. A sentence from Micah, you have been told what is right and what
02:07God wants of you, only this, to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with
02:16your God.
