00:00Welcome everybody here this afternoon to this remembrance service at All Saints
00:04on Armistice Day. We gather to remember those men and women who proudly fought
00:10for King, Queen and Country. Those who fought against tyranny and dictatorship
00:15so generations who followed would be free from the perils they endured.
00:20Not returning to the sanctity of their loved ones, they paid the ultimate sacrifice with their lives.
00:27Although the years pass by, they are not forgotten. We stand shoulder to shoulder,
00:32unified in remembrance, with the same pride and honour they fought with. We will remember them.
00:42Good afternoon everyone. Let me echo what Councillor Caulfield has just said.
00:47We come this afternoon to join together, not just as a group here, but with people
00:54right across our land affected in one way or another by war and the impact of war.
